PM visits rain‚ flood hit areas in Balochistan

Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf visited rain and flood hit areas in Balochistan on Sunday to review relief efforts for the rehabilitation of affected people.
Addressing flood affectees in Dera Murad Jamali on Sunday he said the most affected three districts will be given two hundred million rupees for the provision of food. He said this money would be provided on Sunday.
The Prime Minister said that the recent rains inflicted heavy loses and damage in Sindh‚ South Punjab and Balochistan. He assured that each possible step would be taken to provide relief to the affectees.
The Prime Minister announced Rs 2 billion relief package for construction of infrastructure in flood-hit areas. He said the floods are a challenge for the nation and hopefully we would emerge to deal with it.
He praised the timely relief actions of the provincial government and the Pakistan Army. He directed the NDMA for coordination. He also directed that electricity should be immediately restored.
He announced four hundred thousand rupees for the heirs of each diseased in the floods. He also announced provision of twenty thousand tents for the affectees.
