Former National Assembly Member Nawabzada Mazhar Ali Khan, former MPA Nawabzada Muzaffar Ali Khan, former District Council chairman Gujrat Tahir-ul-Mulk and Haider Mehdi son of Nawabzada Mehdi from Gurjat called on the Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif. Expressing their confidence in the leadership of Nawaz Sharif, they announced to join Pakistan Muslim League- Nawaz (PML-N). Welcoming the prominent political and social personalities of Gujrat into the PML-N, CM said today the party has been strengthened in upper Punjab due to political stalwarts of the area marching in its ranks. The CM also accepted an invitation to visit Gujrat. Members of the Nawab family of Gujrat said that Nawaz Sharif was the only leader who could steer the country out of crisis. They said that they will work under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif as workers for strengthening the PML-N. Provincial Law Minister Rana Sanullah Khan was also present on the occasion.
These nawabzadas r spent cartridges,they hv never been elected since 93,even in the last elections when Shujat lost-they were beaten by his brother with a margin of 36000 votes. Their elder brother mr. Ghazanfar gul, the head of the family is still in pp & he has openly expressed his anguish at Cm punjab for making rifts in the family. Then their political style is outdated,they did nt even give a tea cup to people visiting their dera or house & also did nt compaign actively. Even a UC nazim in that constituency has a cavalcade of gun men and supporters bt they r living in 70s and never did they fulfill any of their workers demands neither they try to get jobs for their workers.
I think Mr. Umar needs to get his facts right. Nawabzada family has only lost because they never rigged elections. They still get 66,000 votes in every election, when the send 1/4th amount of money than their rivals. on the other hand, the 2002 electiosn were rigged and the 2008 were fought with the strength of the police backing Wajahat force. let the up coming elections come. Inshah Allah the Nawabzada's will prove they truly are the Nawabs.

family.ghazanfar gul is the younger brother of nawabzada mazhar and muzaffar .nawabzada muzaffar has very powerful influence in district gujrat politics he is very sensible and polite person. All parties in gujrat respect him and his opinions .he is a genuine politician his period of chairmanship of district gujrat was tremendous and memorable.he did excellent duty for common people of gujrat.his dera in gujrat is always filled with people who Come from distant areas of district gujrat.shaukat from sarai Alamgir. fant
