Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistani Dr Farooq Sattar on Thursday held a meeting with the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) of Pakistan Fakhruddin G Ebrahim and discussed him with the issue pertaining to giving the right of vote to overseas Pakistani. During the meeting, the mechanism was discussed as how to facilitate the overseas Pakistan to cast votes, strength of Pakistanis living abroad, role of Pakistani embassies and missions, necessary amendment in the constitution paving way for the Pakistani expatriate to cast votes and subsequently passage of the bill from the Parliament.
