Acts of hatred would encourage extremists: PTI

“US Government is expected to control and restrain American hate mongers, who have continued a crude campaign of deliberate insults and humiliation against Islam for several years now. Our expectations are based on President Barak Hussain Obama’s claim that he respects all religions.”, said PTI leader and former minister Malik Abdul Qayyum.
He said blasphemous film, aesthetically crude and obnoxiously derogatory, has been responsible for some deaths, including an American ambassador, and scores of protest across the Muslim world. Grave hurt has been caused and strongest possible message delivered to the makers of the mischievous film. Now, President Zardari must take up this matter in the UN General Assembly representing the true sentiments of the whole nation.
PTI leader said acts of hatred, like this, if repeated would encourage extremists. We hope US government will not sit like a silent spectator and take all the steps to check those hate mongers who want to hijack Washington’s relations with the Muslim world. At the same time, protesters need to be careful so that they do not play in the hands of those whose sole purpose here is to incite violence. When passions run so high even a small act of indiscretion can spell disaster.
The American constitution provides protections to all the speeches except when it directly incites violent actions. Moreover, the producer of the film is already convicted in a fraud case and separately wanted in some other cases. He has cheated and mislead his film cast in to making a hate film. There are many legal ways to contain such persons who spread hatred, concluded Malik Qayyum
