Institute of Rural Management (IRM) is providing skill development experience for senior and mid level professionals by developing a practical approach to effective written and oral communication in professional settings, said IRM Program Officer Faryal Gohar on Tuesday.
During the opening ceremony of Executive Diploma in English Language proficiency (EDELP) Gohar said that there were dozens of institutes which were offering the same kind of programs but this diploma was unique as it had been strategically designed for professionals to meet their diverse needs and multiple purposes related to business and social communication.
She further said that this twelve week training program would polish the participant’s written and oral Standard English skills by utilizing and understanding the basic formats of emails, memos, letters, informal and formal reports, and formal presentations and group discussions.
She said that training would be delivered by experienced and highly qualified international faculty who would design course contents for the participants on the basis of their individual assessment and professional needs after the orientation session.
