Arrangements for two days Judges conference has been finalised which will be organised in collaboration of World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and European Union at Singapore that would be held from September 26 to 27, 2012.
Chairman IPO-Pakistan Hameed Ullah Jan Afridi informed that a delegation consist of eighteen judges and public prosecutors, would represent Pakistan in the conference. He said, this event would provide a unique platform to the participants in which various legal issue and relevant topics with respect to IPR would be shared to compile applicable and result oriented proposals. Director General IPO-Pakistan Sajjad Ahmed Bhutta would also participate in the workshop.
Hameed Ullah Jan Afridi, while elaborating the basic aims and targets of the said workshop, said that this event would assist to avail the floor by exchanging knowledge and experiences. He said that consistent initiatives are being taken to promote IP culture in the country and several projects are under way to make awareness at gross roots level in collaboration of relevant stakeholders.
