22 police officers transferred to Balochistan to improve law and order

The government has transferred 22 officers of the Police group to Balochistan in an attempt to improve the worsening law and order there. Police officers in grades 18, 19, and 20 have been transferred from Punjab, Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and posted in Balochistan while, six police officers have been transferred from Balochistan and their services placed at the disposal of Sindh and Punjab. According to a notification issued by the Establishment Division, Grade-20 officers who have been posted in Balochistan are FIA Director Moazzam Jah Anwar, DIG Dr Mujeebur Rehman, National Police Academy Director Asif Saifullah Paracha, Motorways DIG Jehanzeb Jogezai and Sindh DIG Sardar Abdul Majeed Khan. Grade-20 officers in Balochistan Azhar Rashid Khan and Pir Qurban Ali Shah have been placed at the disposal of the Sindh government.
Grade-19 officers who have been transferred to Balochistan include FIA Director Shakeel Durrani, National Police Academy Director Qamarul Hassan, Punjab SSPs Fiaz Ahmad and Syed Ahmad Mubeen. SSP Khurram Shakoor, a grade-19 officer has been posted from Balochistan to Punjab. SPs in grade-18 who have been transferred from Punjab to Balochistan are Shahzada Sultan, Asghar Ali, Mohammad Anwar Ketharan, Mohammad Mukhtar Tikka, Mohammad Azhar Akram, Ahmad Nawaz and Syed Ashfaq Anwar. Also Mohammad Atif Akram of Motorways and Badr Farrukh, presently posted in KP have been placed at the disposal of Balochistan government.
