Punjab Governor Latif Khosa has blamed Punjab government for the mishap in the shoe factory, which was engulfed by fire and claimed lives of 25 people in Lahore.
Sources said that in a provincial report sent to President Asif Ali Zardari, Latif Khosa mentioned that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) was responsible for the carnage. The governor further stated in the report, that the factory was built in an area which was not suitable for the construction of industrial units, this possible because of the owners’ political connections, adding that PML-N’s leadership and concerned departments were directly responsible for the causalities.
