A couple caught the attention of media inside the District Courts who were both reportedly females and had married three months earlier, City42 reported on Tuesday.
According to details, family members of Ayesha Butt had registered a case against her husband Shehzad Butt, alleging that the latter was a girl and not a man.
Report quoted Shahzad saying he was a man and that his in-laws wanted to rob his wife back from him. Shahzad also said that he was ready to give any kind of medical tests to prove his manhood. Ayesha said her ‘husband’ was a man and she could not even imagine living with Shehzad if he were a woman. She said her family had opposed the marriage and were now trying to end her marriage. The family members alleged that Shehzad’s real name was Sonia Malik.
