9 killed in Karachi violence

At least nine persons including a policeman and an activist of political party were killed and several others injured in separate incidents of violence in different areas of the city on Wednesday. The enraged protestors set ablaze a truck and two stalls.
According to details, unknown armed men gunned down a police constable Sarwar Shah in Aagra Taj Colony of Lyari.
In Millat Town of Malir a man identified as Salman, 40, was killed in firing of unidentified assassins. In yet another incident of firing in Saudabad area of Malir one person was killed. The body was shifted to hospital where identity of deceased was yet to be confirmed.
Two persons were killed in separate firing incidents in Garden and Sector 13-C of Orangi Town. One of the deceased was identified as Nabbi Bux while identity of other could not be ascertained.
The police recovered a hanged body of unknown person from Baldia Town near Northern Bypass.
Two persons including an activist of political party identified as Sarwat and another person identified as Ghani were shot dead in firing by unidentified gunmen at a video shop situated at Ghareebabad area of Malir.
In PIB Colony, two persons were injured in a hand grenade attack.
A man was shot dead in a firing incident that occurred in Ranchore Line area of the city.
Meanwhile, enraged protestors during violent protest set ablaze a truck in Quaidabad and two stalls installed outside shops in Sector 5-J of Karachi.
In Patel Parra, Lee Market, Shara-e-Faisal areas the protestors ransacked the public and private property and blocked the roads by burning tyres resulting in traffic jam.
