Two injured in attack on NATO trucks

At least two persons were injured when militants attacked a truck loaded with NATO-bound supplies at Jamrud in Khyber Agency on Monday. Per details, a number of trucks loaded with goods and equipment for NATO troops, camping across the border, were on their way to Afghanistan.
When the convoy reached Jamrud, it was ambushed by armed militants. As a result of the attackers’ firing, one vehicle was partially damaged, while its driver and assistant were injured and were admitted to the Peshawar Hospital. Soon after the attack, security was tightened in the area and a number of suspects were arrested.
