Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) Chairman Rao Qamar Suleman resigned from his post on Tuesday, source said.
“After the resignation of Suleman, who has been on sick leaves for past few weeks, DMG captain Javed Younis has been appointed as acting chairman of the PIA,” media reports said quoting sources.
Suleman, the former Pakistan Air Force chief, was appointed as the chairman and chief executives officer (CEO) of the country’s national airlines in May this year.
