LHC orders police to arrest Future Concern owner

The Lahore High Court on Monday issued fresh orders to police for the arrest of an immigration consultant company owner, allegedly involved in swindling money from people on the pretext of sending them abroad, and produce him before the court on September 24. Justice Syed Mazahar Ali Akbar Naqvi passed the orders on a petition filed Malik Sarood Ahmad.
Earlier, the court was informed on behalf of police that the accused Asim Malik could not be arrested till now but a police team had been constituted who was making raids for his arrest. However, respondent’s counsel told the court that non-bailable arrest warrants for the accused had been challenged before the Supreme Court and it was fixed for hearing today.
