A team of professionals and technical experts from Google came to Lahore on September 12 to run a series of sessions for marketers and software developers. The first session focused on how Pakistan can harness Google web and marketing tools and Search, to develop markets and re-energize its economy. The experts from Google discussed in depth, how such strategies had been successful in other emerging markets. The technical sessions began with a welcome address by Amer Sarfaraz, GBG Manager Lahore. Following the introductory address, Aileen Apolo, Head of Outreach, Southeast Asia conducted a session on “G+ for your business”. Aileen develops and implements programs to help the internet eco-system grow, which includes gDays and community development. Niken Sasmaya, Online Partnership Group, Google Southeast Asia spoke on ‘Aligning your AdSense account with your long-term business goals’. Niken works closely with strategic publishers to help them grow their business with Google Publisher Monetization Solution.
Google should be lambasted for hosting the Innocence of Mulsims on YouTube. And our idiots are having hangouts with them. They should have handed over some of the googlers to the protestors.
