Coming six months politically crucial: Nawaz

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz chief Nawaz Sharif on Monday said the coming six months would be quite important from a political viewpoint.
Addressing party activists in Gujranwala, he said everybody had a responsibility towards the country, “something the PPP government has failed to deliver”. Nawaz was chagrined over numerous attempts to sabotage the constitution, but said the “coming six months will make everything clear as to who exactly served the nation more effectively and progressively during the past 65 years”.
Nawaz said the country was facing severe crises, but the government had gifted nothing to masses but load shedding, unemployment and inflation.
“The country has been turned into a beggar, with sovereignty virtually on a fragile trail,” he regretted.
He said the country required a strong leadership that was able to resist any foreign dictation.
Nawaz recalled that the PML-N had resisted negative elements twice. “We transformed the country into a nuclear power, resisting an offer of $5 billion to quit the nuclear program,” he elaborated.
The PML-N chief promised that his party would continue to deliver on its promise of prosperity whenever it gained power.

  1. Enough with weeping and crying Mr. Nawaz Sharif. We agree that the current government has sabotaged the economy of Pakistan and pushed us in a dark hole but what's your strategy to pull us back….I would appreciate if you can come up with concerete startegies to recover all what we had and upraise the forum with the details rather then just giving immature statements……

  2. Nawaz Sharif signed deal with Musharraf (in backdoor diplomacy) and denied it for 10 years. Shahbaz Sharif sold out Punjab’s interests in Council of Common Interests, and then denied it. It raised hue and cry in their “principled stand” in the issue of Raymond Davis, but where is he? He magically disappeared from a Punjab Jail. Punjab CM’s office was directly involved in fabricating reports that the presidency and governor is conspiring to murder Justice Khawaja Sharif. And what was the truth. Musharraf himself flew abroad from Lahore, yet PML-N blames the federal government for letting him go. Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif publicly acknowledged that they have made politically motivated cases against their opponents. Given all this, if I need to compare the credibility of words of PPP and PML-N, PML-N stands far away.
