The Rawal Town Municipal Administration (RTMA) has auctioned the goods that have been confiscated during the anti-encroachment drives and earned Rs1 million in the process.
According to official sources, the funds which were generated from the auction would be spent on development schemes in 46 union councils of the city. The auctioning was supervised by Aftab Chouhan of the RTMA and was also attended by other officials of the civic body. The seized goods included around 800 used tyres and other items.
