According to the Met office, heavy rains with thunderstorm are expected during the next 24 hours at several areas of Upper Punjab, Kashmir and scattered places in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan.
During the last 24 hours, rainstorms poured down in some areas of Punjab, Peshawar, Hazara Division, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
In Mianwali, 65 milli-metre of rainfall was recorded while in Gujranwala 41 milli-metre, Sahiwal 39 milli-metre, Faisalabad 25 milli-metre, Peshawar 12 milli-metre, in Lahore and Bahawal Nagar 9 milli-metre, Rawalpindi 8 milli-metre and in Islamabad, Garhi Dopatta and Okara 2 milli-metre of rainfall poured.
