Malik writes to Interpol to block sacrilegious film

Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik has written a letter to Secretary General (SG) Interpol to block the blasphemous film at internet across the globe.
In his written message to Ronald Nobel, the Interpol Secretary General, Rehman Malik strongly criticized the sacrilegious film and urged him to block the disputed film at worldwide internet links.
He was of the view that the protests have started against the disputed film and it could lead to disturbance in law and order situation across the globe including US and hatred and tension among followers of various religions.
The interior minister said that sacrilegious film would affect the ongoing war on terror which was at its peak
Rehman Malik said that Pakistan would suggest solid steps to avoid such occurrences in future during Interpol’s General Assembly’s next meeting.
