Two policemen and three citizens were arrested for robbing citizens in cooperation with eunuchs who used to seduce victims into the trap.
Per details, two police men;Shahid Afzal and Ashraf along with three volunteers Rizwan, Muzaffar and Khalil Haider hailing from Islampura, used to rob citizens at gun point in assistance with eunuchs in Gulberg.
The eunuchs used to stand on roadsides in different posh areas of the locality and used to portray themselves as jiglos/prostitutes. As soon as any motorist stopped, the accused used to emerge from their hiding and robbed the citizens at gun point.
On Saturday night the accused tried to rob a citizen named Zeeshan Butt. However he managed to escape and informed the police. The police, responding to the complaint, conducted a raid and arrested all the five accused. A case has been registered against the culprits and arms have been recovered from their possession.
