Nation wide protests against anti-Islam film

Protest rallies and demonstrations were staged, and are still underway, across many cities of the country Sunday.
Protesters demanded severing diplomatic links with the US.
In Hasht Nagri district of Peshawar a protest demonstration was staged by JUI. Hundreds of participants of the demonstration chanted “death fo America”.
Protests also continues across many cities in Punjab. A protest rally organized by Markazi Jamiat Ahle Hadees Youth Force was staged at Batti Chowk, Ravi Road in Lahore. Protestors burnt American flags and raised anti-US slogans and condemned the blasphemous film. Jamiat Ahle Hadees also announced to start Namoos-e-Risalat (Protecting the Sanctity of the Holy Prophet peace be on him) movement from September 21.
Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Pakistan strongly condemning the anti-Islam film demaned the government to record its strong protest to the American government and to call back Pakistan’s Ambassador to Washington, Sherry Rahman.
In Faisalabad, angry protestors staged a protest rally and chanted slogans against the US. They also burnt US flag.
Protest rallies were also staged in many cities of Sindh province.
Members of Christian community staged a protest in front of Hyderabad Press Club and demanded banning the movie for ever.
In Naushero Feroze angry protestors held a protest march on G T Road and torched US flag.
Sarwari Roohani Jamaat staged a rally in Umar Kot while Jamaat-e-Islami organized a rally in Nawabshah.
