Electricity supply to various cities of Sindh was adversely affected as three units of Jamshoro went dysfunctional due to technical fault on Saturday.
According to details, thermal power house Jamshoro, Kotri Gas Turbine power house and Lakhrra power house were closed due to technical faults and suspension of gas.
It should be mentioned that two machines of Jamshoro power plant are dysfunctional for the last two months while three have been closed to technical grounds on Saturday.
The three power units closed due to various reasons generate 711MW electricity.
Electricity supply to various cities including Karachi, Nawabshah, Tando Muhammad Khan, Tando Allayar and others districts has been reduced due to the shortfall.
