The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), on Saturday, dispatched a summary to the petroleum ministry to increase the prices of Petrol by Rs 6.82 per litre and CNG by Rs 6.20 per kilogram.
According to the OGRA summary, it has been recommended to cut the price of hi-octane by Rs 1.50 per litre, high-speed diesel by Rs 1.74, kerosene oil by Rs 0.62 per litre and light diesel by Rs 0.14.
The petroleum ministry would decide the new petroleum prices on September 16 and it would be implemented from September 17.
