Due to lack of proper maintenance of recreational places, the Rose and Jasmine Garden presents a bad look as the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has turned a blind eye towards the park. Visitors to the garden, talking to INP, deplored the civic body for poor maintenance of the garden as some uprooted trees were laying on the walking track, and there was no one to remove it which was caused inconvenience to them. They said that overgrown grass in the garden indicates inefficiency of the gardening department of the civic body.
“The Garden attracts a large number of visitors, especially during spring season when it is decorated with colorful flowers, but its beauty fades away as soon as spring season wraps up,” they lamented.
They demanded Chairman CDA Farkhand Iqbal to take notice of the negligence of the concerned staff in order to restore the beauty of the Rose and Jasmine Garden.
