A private company based in Karachi, Adgrow Ltd., provided a consignment of local medicine instead of the ordered imported medicine for dengue to the Punjab government’s Health Department on Thursday, City42 reported.
According to the report, the Punjab government had given a contract on January 21 to Adgrow Private Limited to provide imported medicine from India but the company, violating the contract, provided locally manufactured medicines. The custom officials, on checking the import documents, got to know that the medicines were locally made and the documents were also faked. On getting the information, the health department not only banned Adgrow for three years but also captured the security amount provided by the company on the time of signing the contract.
Further investigation into the matter has also been initiated.

  1. They are the rulers of 63% of the country. And look what is happening in their own province. They badly failed to contain dengue and resolve the health issues in Punjab. Hand CM Punjab spent millions on dengue control rather than his publicity; people would have been taking sigh of relief today. There is no electricity whatsoever, no water, no gas. Patients dying in government hospitals die to lack of treatments and fake medicines. Students are committing suicides for their wrong results. The Patwaris and Thana culture is playing havoc to an extent that Punjab has literally become a ‘police state. Still, they don’t have anything else to do but to do Noora Khushti when in reality they perfectly are supporting the corrupt federal government. Can any one convince me why should or any other person for that matter living in Punjab vote for these thugs, again?
