Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the demise of veteran film star Safeerullah Siddiqui alias Lehri who passed away at a local hospital here on Thursday.
He recounted the contributions of the deceased in the realms of fine arts and said these would be remembered long.
The chief minister further said that late Lehri was a celebrated comedian and was a very prominent artist. Special Assistants to the chief minister, Rashid Hussain Rabbani and Waqar Medhi also condoled the demise of Lehri.
