Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf has vehemently denied that any contact was made to it regarding names for the Caretaker Prime Minister and neither did it suggest any name for it.
Commenting on a statement by Ch Nisar of N league, Secretary Information PTI Shafqat Mahmood said that it is sad that someone as responsible as leader of the opposition in the National Assembly is fabricating statements regarding the PTI.
He said that neither an approach was made to the party nor any names was suggested for Prime Ministership of the caretaker government. If and when the party is consulted, and it should be, the party would discuss the matter thoroughly and then suggest some names. Until then N-league should stop playing politics, said Shafqat, and levelling false accusations against PTI.
