Hearing a petition submitted by Humayun Saifullah Khan, Peshawar High Court (PHC) Chief Justice Dost Muhammad Khan on Tuesday suspended PML-Q chief Shujaat Hussain’s show cause notice issued to Khan. The PHC chief justice ordered to stop any action against Khan and retain him as MNA. He also ordered Shujaat to submit his reply to the court. Shujaat had issued show cause notices to Khan and seven other MNAs for not voting in favor of Raja Pervaiz Ashraf during his election as prime minister and going against party stance in the National Assembly.
