The Sindh health department has declared rain emergency with high alert in all health centres of the province. Director Public Health and Provincial Focal Person for Rain Emergency Sindh Health Department Dr Masood Solangi informed here on Tuesday that the department had deployed the medics and paramedics for round the clock duty in order to provide health cover to rain affected people if needed. The department has cancelled the leave of all staff and no further leave is being given, he informed and added that a control room had been established in the office of the director general health and all district health officers where staff was available round the clock to make close liaison.
