The conglomerate of Difa-e-Pakistan Council (DPC) and tribal chieftains have announced holding a million march against the proposed North Waziristan operation, giving India the-most-favored-nation status, restoration of NATO supplies and drone attacks in Peshawar on October 1 and in Karachi October 7.
This was announced at a press conference after a Difa-e-Pakistan Council meeting attended by Samiul Haq, Munawar Hasan, Hafiz Saeed and former ISI DG Hameed Gul.
Difa-e-Pakistan Council Chairman Haq said tribal elders had assured them that they were with the Difa-e-Pakistan Council for the defense of Pakistan.
He said the leadership had decided to continue their opposition to the proposed operation in NWA, drone attacks, restoration of NATO supply routes and giving of the most-favored-nation-status to India.
