Altaf Hussain believes Quaid-e-Azam was murdered

Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain on Tuesday said that he still believes Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was murdered, as the establishment did not like him.
Addressing a ceremony in connection with the Quaid’s 64th death anniversary through telephone, the MQM chief said that Quaid-e-Azam belonged to Shia thought of school, but he was a liberal and secular man.
He said that the Quaid did not believe in sectarianism. “I knew facts about the Quaid’s sect but didn’t feel the need to discuss, as he was liberal and secular man,” Altaf added. He said that he could not keep mum following the targeted killings of Shia Muslims. He said that those who were beheading others should not forget that the same could be done to them.
Commenting on the new local government system, Altaf said that the opposition of various political parties on the introduction of the local government system in Sindh showed that these parties were not sincere in allowing the democracy to flourish at the grass-root level.
