Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf blames Punjab govt for deaths caused in floods

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) condemned the Punjab government of mismanagement and not adopting precautionary measures for citizens against floods
PTI stated that even though flood warnings were given by the MET, the provincial government did not set its machinery in motion until flood water had already inundated many towns and villages.
Water entered into houses of Southern Punjab districts like Dera Ghazi Khan, Rajinpur and Tonsa Shareef during night when people were sleeping. So far 78 deaths have been reported and army has been called in to assist in rescue services.
Thousands of people have been displaced and PTI criticized the provincial government of not putting to use the Rs 6 billion fund allocated for precautionary and rescue efforts.
