Five killed, dozens injured in Faisalabad, Jhelum accidents

At least three persons including two children were killed and 14 others injured in separate road accidents in different areas of the city on Tuesday.
According to details, an over speeding tractor ram into a residential house after driver lost control of the vehicle in Karriwala Chak 100 of Faisalabad.
As a result of accident, two children identified as Zohaib, 10 and Amaan, 07, were killed on the spot and Aziz, 12 sustained wounds.
The driver responsible for the accident managed to escape from the scene leaving the vehicle on the spot.
In yet another accident a bus carrying employees of a textile mill collided head-on with a truck. On person was killed in the collision and 13 others sustained injuries.
The injured of both incidents were shifted to different hospitals of concerned areas.
The police took the vehicles into possession and after registering cases started the investigations.
In Jhelum, at least two persons were killed and several others injured when a van plunged into a gorge here on Tuesday.
According to police, the incident happened when a Jhelum bound passenger van coming from Gujjar Khan, fell in ravine near Charway area.
The local people and rescue teams reached the scene of the accident and pulled up the bodies and injured from the gorge and shifted them to hospital.
