Ten people were killed while 40 others injured Monday in a bomb blast in Parachinar, a local television channel said.
According to the channel, the explosives were planted in a parked car at Kashmir Chowk.
The injured have been rushed to the hospital for treatment.
Police and security forces are gathering evidence from the site while mass confusion has gripped the whole area.
