An anti-polio walk was organized in the provincial capital under the auspices of Unicef and Punjab health department. Hundreds of students of Punjab Model Welfare School Kausar Colony participated in the walk which started from R-Block Model Town and concluded at main bazaar Liaqatabad after passing through Kot Lakhpat.
The walk was led by UNICEF district health communication officer Naeema Khan. Representatives from non-governmental organizations, Model Falahi Society Kot Lakhpat, Save the Children, Citizen Forum Model Town, office bearers of Anjuman Sheriyan Kot Lakhpat, Anjuman Tajran Liaqatabad and President Awami Rickshaw driver Zafar Alam and civil society also participated in the walk.
