A NATCO owned bus en route from Gilgit to Rawalpindi collided with a truck near Haripur on Saturday.
At least seven people were injured due to the impact of the collision. The middle portion of the NATCO bus was completely destroyed in the accident.
One of the passengers was said to be seriously injured, although no loss of life was reported so far.
According to an eyewitness, two trucks had collided on the Karakorum Highway (KKH) near Haripur and one of the damaged trucks was parked in middle of the road when it was hit by the bus coming from Gilgit.
It is worth mentioning, that the number of accidents on the KKH during the last two weeks had increased sharply.
