The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) senator Aitzaz Ahsan said on Saturday that Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf has no other option than to write to the Swiss authorities or else face disqualification. Talking to a private TV channel, Aitzaz said that he never advised his party not to follow the court orders, adding that Gilani’s acceptance of the sentence was a clear sign of complying with court orders, though the sentencing was wrong. He said that the current PM would also be disqualified if he doesn’t write to the Swiss authorities for the re-opening of cases against President Asif Ali Zardari.
However, he maintained that the PPP would not write to the Swiss authorities, adding that no case could be opened in the Swiss courts till Zardari held to the presidency. While referring to the political engagements of Zardari in the presidency, Aitzaz asked whether such meetings were not held in the White House. He said that it would be odd if the United States President Barrack Obama was not holding meetings with political parties in the White House.
What has happened to this man!

But maybe Mr. Ahsan is right, Pakistan is ALSO running a Presidential System of Government – BY PROXY, that is…. so he is right….. our apologies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
