Protest held against complex Iranian visa process

People aspiring to go to Iran staged a protest against complex visa policy and double increase in the visa fees in front of the Iranian Consulate here on Saturday.
The protesters said that thousands of people went to the Iranian Consulate to acquire visa but the concerned staff at the Consulate gave out a few number of tokens to the people and the staff do not treat with the people with proper manner.
While the visa fee has also been increased from Rs 2200 to Rs 4375 which has also increased the problems of the masses.
The protesters said that they were given a time frame of twelve days to get their visas but they are made to wait for upto 20 days in order to get their visa.
The protesters have demanded of the Iranian and Pakistani authorities to change the Iranian Councilor General from Quetta and to make the acquisition of Multi visa process easy for the traders.

  1. These issue are actually solved diplomatically, unfortunately in Pakistan it is not the case. I hope Iranian government will consider this situation, as it is the only safe and welcomed border left open for us.
