Five persons were shot dead in different areas of the city, the police said on Friday. Per details, two limb-tied, tortured bodies of young men were found under the Raxer Bridge, Golimar. Police suspected that they were first kidnapped and then killed. Another tortured dead body of a man, identified as Anwar, was found from Mochko. Another body of a 30-year-old man was also found near Askari Park, PIB Colony. He was identified as Shabbir. In a separate incident, some unidentified gunmen opened fire at a man near Sindhi Hotel located in Liaquatabad. He died on the spot, while the attackers somehow managed to escape.
