Bomb hoax disturbs 8 PIA flights

A bomb hoax disturbed at least eight PIA flights, PIA spokesman said here on Friday. PIA aircraft Boeing 747 to perform flight PK 304 Karachi-Lahore had to be parked at an isolated bay to be checked for reasons of safety. Hence departure of three international flights, four domestic were rescheduled while one flight from Lahore to Dubai PK 203 was cancelled and the passengers were brought to Karachi and were shifted to the connecting Karachi-Dubai flight PK 213 which left Karachi at Midnight. The expected time of departure of the flight initially was 10:10 PM. Flight PK 304 was merged with PK 306 which took off for Lahore at 6:00 PM. Similarly PK 305 and PK 307 were also merged and the departure was rescheduled for 9:00 PM. The same aircraft had to perform flight PK 731 Karachi-Jeddah the expected time of departure was changed to 12:45 AM (Saturday) from 6:00 PM (Friday). While, departure of PK 743 Karachi-Madinah was also rescheduled for 10:15 PM which was schedule to leave at 6:45 PM.
LLB Part-1I results announced

HYDERABAD: The Controller of Examinations (Annual) University of Sindh on Friday announced the result of LLB Part-I Annual Examination 2011. According to result summary, a total of 1,306 candidates have been declared successful among 1,848 who appeared in the examinations. Out of 1,848 candidates, 465 candidates have been declared fail in different subjects while the results of 61 candidates have been with-held due to incomplete documents by conduct branch of the university. The mark sheets are being dispatched to the candidates. APP
