OCA Baseball Coaching Course ends

The 12-day long Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) Baseball Coaching Course concluded here at the Punjab Sports Board Academy here on Thursday.
Arif Shahzad was the Course Director and taught the finer points about the game during the course.
Who assisted Arif Shahzad were Syed Khawar Shah about Rules & Regulations, Musaddiq Hanif about Batting/Pitching and Usman Shahzad about Fielding as coordinators.
During the course Resource Persons Miss Sumera Sattar Executive Member of POA (Women Sports Promotion), Mr. Painda A. Malik Secretary General Pakistan Gymnastic Federation (Olympic Movement), Dr. Meesaq Rizvi (Injuries/Doping) and Mr. Salman Iqbal Butt Secretary General Punjab Athletic Association (Nutrition) also delivered lectures to the participants.
Overall 28 coaches belong to Punjab, Sindh, Baluchisan, K.P.K, Islamabad, Army, WAPDA, Police and different schools, colleges and universities attended the course. All the coaches also passed the written test which was taken at the end of the course.
President Pakistan Olympic Association (POA) Lt. Gen. (Rtd.) Arif Hasan was the chief guest and he awarded the certificates to the successful coaches. Miss Zaiba Manzoor from Punjab Women Baseball Association was declared as the best student of the course.
