Musharraf for use of force in Balochistan

Former Army Chief and President Pervez Musharraf, who had launched a deadly military operation against Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti in Balochistan during his reign is still in favor of using force in the violence-hit province.
Musharraf, now head of All Pakistan Muslim League (APML), told his audience at the main campus of FAST University, in a video conference address on the eve of Defense Day, that the present Pakistan People’s Party led coalition government should use force to eradicate the separatist movement in Balochistan.
Attributing lingering violence in the province to foreign hands, the former military chief claimed that the Baloch Liberation Army was playing in the hands of anti-Pakistan elements who wanted to destabilize the country.
He suggested that if the government resorted to use of force for six months only, Balochistan would become a better place.
The former president said that in his tenure, huge sums of money had been invested on the long-neglected province as compared to Punjab, and yet no development was carried out there.
On the subject of US drone attacks in Pakistan’s tribal areas, he said that the government should try and negotiate, to stop the assault if it was not able to stop the same through use of force.

    • Surrender is not in your hands. You have already surrendered in 1971. Our challenge is that if we further break failed state of P0rkistan where these 190 million w0rms will go !!!!!! Some of them will crawl into India and we dont want it. so let us keep the f1lth in one bag called Bakistan.

      • How can you even consider talking about feeding or even helping anyone,you over a billion DOTS can't even feed yourself.Over 90% of Indians starve everyday(per indian news) I laugh at you,you are under the illusion that India is a great state,really??? you have the marbles to even consider talking about minorities,please,the whole world knows what you do to the muslims in India and Kashmir.So go and pray to a elephant with 20 arms and save us the sermon on humanity.

          Why I am not surprised with this Indian mind set?
          Because this was exactly the mind set which led Mr Jinnah to change ship from Indian national Congress to Pakistan Muslim league and this was the same mind set of hate that led the Muslims to demand a separate homeland for them.

  14. Musharraf is a “Chala Hua Kartoose” according to his own terms. now he has nothing to do with Pakistan. what a tremendous lesson for him that he cannot live in Pakistan.He is a coward general in the Military history of the world that he himself is in exile.
    People should must be clear that the present day Balochistan issue is basically created by anti Pakistan acts like Killing of Akbar Bugti by Musharrafs government.This man should be here in Pakistan for facing legal charges framed against him.

  20. As Tarek Fatah puts it, if you hopeful for Pakistan than get rid of its present structure of Pakistan army, which consist of 90% of one ethnic group.
