Kamra airbase assault: PCNS to meet on Sept 13

Chairman Parliamentary Committee on National Security (PCNS) Friday met under Mian Raza Rabbani who summoned the next meeting of the committee on September 13 for briefing on terrorist attack on Kamra airbase.
The top officials of the security forces and Pakistan Air Force briefed the committee on the incident and post-attack situation as well as the ongoing inquiry into the terrorist attack.
Besides getting briefing on terrorist attack on Kamra airbase, the committee deliberated upon the draft proposals for amendments in the anti-terrorism laws and recommendations for legal framework to stop the disappearance of persons.
While talking to the journalists after the conclusion of the meeting, Chairman of the Committee Mian Raza Rabbani said that officials of the Ministry of Defence briefed the committee on the details of Kamra attack in depth.
He condemned the attack on Kamra Air Base and said it was an attack on the integrity of Pakistan.
He further added that such attacks cannot deter us as anti state elements want to disrupt peace in the country, however all their nefarious designs will be foiled tooth and nail.
He said that Parliamentary Committee on National Security (PCNS) will meet again on September 13.
It is pertinent to mention that the entire session was in-camera.

Ofcourse it Will be held in camera as it was Intel failure…..like mehran base , this report will never be made public…like mehran base, the terrorists objective was to destroy our surveillence aircrafts n they have been successful….destroyed 2 n damaged one….total loss 200 million dólllars….taxpayers hardearned money……

  2. and yet no confirmed official word about the fate of the erieye?
    How many were damaged/destroyed? And the extent of damage?
    No word from any official source,just rumours flying around.
