DCO Lahore Noorul Amin Mengal said that sacrifices rendered by martyrs of September 6, 1965 have not been forgotten by the nation and are marked in the collective conscious of the nation in golden words. He expressed these views while presiding over a ceremony to mark 47th defense day of Pakistan held at Town Hall on Thursday. Commodore Akbar Naqvi, Group Captain M.Z Faisal, MNA Pervaiz Malik, students, civil defense volunteers and people hailing from various segments of life participated in the event. The national flag was also hoisted at Town Hall by participants to mark the occasion.
