Heavy rain lashed different cities of the country turning the weather pleasant besides flooding the low lying areas and accumulating water in streets and residential houses.
According to details, several cities of Khyber Pakhtunkhawa, (KP), Punjab, Sindh and Balochistan received heavy showers on late Wednesday night and early Thursday morning which brought a pleasant change in weather providing relief to the masses facing problems due to prolonged and unscheduled loadshedding and scorching heat.
Youth in various cities including Multan, Peshawar and Jaccobabad came out to enjoy the weather.
However, the rain also created problems for people residing in low lying areas as water entered their houses.
The citizens of the affected areas criticized the concerned authorities for lack of proper sewerage system due to which they have to face loss of millions of rupee during monsoon season.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted more rain in upper parts of the country during the next 24-hour.
