Jamat-e-Islami (JI) chief Syed Munawar Hasan on Thursday said that the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has given nothing to the country except inflation, poverty and load-shedding.
Addressing a public gathering here, he said that the current government was increasing inflation and power/gas loadshedding in the country.
He said that poverty was also increased in the country during the PPP-led government’s four and half year tenure.
The JI ameer said that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has also supported the PPP in the name of reconciliation.
He urged for the new elections, saying the polls are necessary to get rid of corrupt rulers.
