Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi told a gathering of Arab foreign ministers on Wednesday that he wanted to revive Egypt’s pivotal role in the Arab region after the country had been “marginalised.” Morsi told ministers at the Arab League headquarters that he wanted Egypt to “regain its natural place in the Arab world, contributing to help its people build a bright Arab future.” He said that Egypt had “unfortunately been absent from Arab work for a while.” “We return from this marginalisation, where we have lived in recent decades, back to Egypt’s natural historic role,” Morsi said. Since his election in June, Morsi has sought to redefine Egypt’s diplomatic path, taking a strong stance on the Syria conflict and visiting Iran and China, both rivals of Egypt’s traditional ally the United States. Morsi lashed out at the Syrian regime during a speech at the summit of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) in Tehran last week, calling it “oppressive” while publicly urging support for rebels seeking President Bashar al-Assad’s ouster.
morsi wants to run before he can walk – his lack of experience is becoming apparent
Assad would be lacking in duty if he did not defend his country from internal and external enemies of the State,by whatever means available to him.Is that not what any leader would do? Would not inexperienced morsi do the same if a similar situation visited his country?
!wahabi stooge morsi talks a lot about syria, but what about the atrocities committed against the Shias in bahrain.where there is no respect for human rights of baharani citizens- what have you to say about it morsi? -or no respect for women and no regard for other communities in wahabi abdulla's saudi – well you would become speechless – why because your begging bowl gets filled by your wahabi brother abdulla and others to whose tune you have to dance and you are doing a good job too.morsi dont forget you have enough problems of your own in egypt,so those who live in glass houses should not throw stones at othersNobody should be surprised if one of these days you will extend your hand in friendship to the zionists just to get at Iran
