The Rawalpindi Bench of the Lahore High Court has admitted for hearing an application by the Anti Narcotics Task Force for placing Ali Moosa Gilani and Makhdoom Shahabuddin, along with 14 others, on the exit-control list (ECL). After admitting the application on Wednesday, the bench comprising Justice Maqbool Mahmood Bajwa and Justice Ali Baqir Najvi asked the Interior Ministry to submit a reply.
The prosecutor of the ANF requested the court to order placement of the names of the accused on the ECL as the ANF feared that they might flee the country. He also sought direction for strict security of the accused.
