Punjab chief minister’s special assistant on health Khawaja Salman Rafique, has directed the heads of all government departments to emsure eradication of dengue warning that September and October are breeding seasons of mosquitoes. He was chairing a meeting of cabinet committee called to review implementation of anti-dengue steps adopted by different departments on Tuesday. He directed public and private hospitals to display antecedents of dengue patients at the dash board prepared by the Punjab Information Technology so that timely provision ofhealthcare is ensured for the patients. The meeting was attended by elected representatives from Lahore, secretaries of all government departments, Commissioner Lahore Division, DCO Lahore and other senior officers.
