Anti-smuggling customs cell registered four cases against two custom officials including a woman involved in corruption causing millions of rupee loss to national exchequer.
According to details, at Thokar Niaz Baig Dry Port, importers with the connivance of custom officials changed the status of imported goods causing millions of rupees losses to national exchequer.
The anti-smuggling customs cell, unveiled the corruption scam and took five containers of imported goods into custody.
A case has been registered against two custom officials including a woman and former constable deployed at the dry port and raids were underway for their arrest.
