The recent hike in petroleum prices was challenged in the Lahore High Court (LHC) here on Tuesday.
Judicial Activism Panel had submitted the petition in the LHC in which the plaintiff has argued that the increase in fuel prices would push the inflation to new heights creating a crisis in the country.
The petitioners requested the court to take immediate notice of increase in the prices and declare them null and void.
